Straightforward, self-pay pricing
What sessions cost, and how out-of-network reimbursement works.
My Approach
Why I keep my caseload small
I keep my caseload to 10–15 clients a week. That's a choice I made on purpose.
Real change in therapy depends on trust, and trust takes time. It builds when you feel known: when I remember the details of your life, notice what shifted since last week, and come to each session prepared and fully present. I don't think I can do that well at high volume, so I don't try.
I've thought a lot about this, and it's where I do my best work.
How this connects to my rates
My fees reflect this model. Seeing fewer people means each session carries more of my time, preparation, and focus. You're paying for personalized care, not a high-volume appointment slot.
Spots are limited by design. If you're considering therapy, reach out and we'll see if we're a good fit.
A small caseload means
-
Your full attention
I'm not rushing between back-to-back sessions or running on empty.
-
Preparation between sessions
I think about your work outside the hour, not just during it.
-
Flexibility
Your treatment can adapt as you do, instead of following a template.
-
Continuity
You work with me, consistently, for the whole course of care.
Session Fees

Insurance
Out-of-network, with superbills available
Mindset Psychological Care operates as a self-pay, out-of-network practice. I am not directly paneled with insurance companies, which allows treatment decisions — including session frequency, length of care, and modality — to be made collaboratively with you, without requirements set by an insurer.
If your health plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurer for possible partial reimbursement.
Questions to ask your insurer
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?
- Is there a deductible that must be met first?
- How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?
